China emerges as the largest contributor in BRICS reserve pool

China will be the largest contributor of the contingency reserve fund (CRF) of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) consortium of nations. This was decided after a meeting of the finance ministers of the member nations at Durban in South Africa, on the second day of the fifth summit.
