Ecuador grants asylum to Julian Assange

A day after the British government threatened to storm the Ecuadorian embassy in London to arrest WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange, Ecuadorean foreign minister Ricardo Patino said that political asylum has been granted to Assange.
