Official mourning in China

Three days national mourning in China started on Monday in remembrance of the 32,500 killed so far in the worst earthquake in more than thirty years. The national flag flew at half mast at the daily raising of the flag as dawn broke over Beijing's Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Authorities said on Sunday that public entertainment would be suspended and a three minute silence would also be observed.
