Police use teargas as protesters in Dhaka torch vehicles

Protesters from Bangladesh's opposition parties took to the streets, torching vehicles and vandalising shops as riots broke out in various parts of the capital. Activists from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its alliance Jamaat-e-Islami marched through Dhaka shouting slogans and holding black flags.
