Security beefed up as lawyers' convoy: Islamabad

Pakistani lawyers on their long march are about to reach Islamabad on Friday. The motor convoy that set off from Multan on Wednesday, left from Lahore yesterday. Security in the Pakistani capital has been beefed up as the motor convoy drove slowly towards Islamabad for a protest outside the parliament. The march is being taken out to demand the reinstatement of judges fired by President Pervez Musharraf.
