Senior Zardari security officer killed in Pakistan

Gunmen killed a senior security officer of Pakistan's ruling party head Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi on Tuesday. Ejaz Durrani, a spokesman for Zardari, said assailants ambushed Khalid Shehanshah outside his house in Karachi's upmarket Defence neighbourhood and killed him on the spot. Zardari, who was in Islamabad when the attack took place, condemned the killing.
