Several injured in clash in Pakistan

Several police personnel and lawyers were injured on Thursday in a clash between them when the lawyers accompanying the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry were denied entry to the Supreme Court through the judges gate. Hundreds of flag-waving activists, including supporters of conservative Islamist and liberal parties, were joined by lawyers for a rally outside the Supreme Court where they chanted anti- Musharraf slogans.
