Sheikh Hasina returns to Bangladesh

Thousands of Awami League party leaders and activists gathered at Bangladesh's Zia International Airport on Monday to receive former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina ignoring the restriction on public gatherings under the state of emergency. Sheikh Hasina returned home after spending 51 days in the US and UK following the temporary ban imposed by the military-backed interim government on her return.
