Siachen will be a mountain of peace: Menon

India signaled a positive momentum to the stalled peace talks between Delhi and Islamabad as the country's Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon expressed determination to make Siachen a 'mountain of peace'. Menon also mooted the possibility of joint environmental mountain survey expeditions on the glacier, dubbed the world's highest battlefield, in a bid to reduce mistrust between the two nations.
