Motorcycle drivers who want to work for UberJek, a ride sharing company in Indonesia, must pass a test to confirm they don't stink. Besides passing a written test and a vehicle test potential, employees must pass a 'smell test'. The company, UberJek, says they were looking for ways to protect customers from unsavory experiences. There are now nearly 40 such firms operating in Indonesia where temperatures soar and public transportation is patchy. UberJek has no connection to the Uber car-sharing service.
