Taliban suicide bomber and several gunmen attacked the Afghan Parliament on Monday, triggering massive explosions and forcing lawmakers to flee the smoke-filled building. Dramatic footage aired on TV channels showed MPs screaming after the blast went off as the lower house was in session. The room rapidly filled with smoke as security personnel began escorting the MPs out. "All lawmakers and staff members had been evacuated," said Abdul Haseeb Siddiqui, spokesperson for the National Directorate of Security, the Afghan spy agency. Siddiqui said he had no information on possible casualties.
