Killing time in a Stockholm shopping mall while his car was being repaired on Friday (May 13), Marios Lysandrides happened upon a robbery of a jewellery shop which he decided to film.36-year-old Lysandrides was looking for somewhere to eat in Kista Galleria mall when he saw two men riding on a moped inside the mall with what seemed like nylon socks on their heads. At this stage they were not wearing face masks.”As I was about to tell the duo that it is not allowed to ride mopeds inside, I see the the two picking up a gun and a crowbar. That's when I decided on either intervening or just getting the shot. As I saw that the gun looked like real thing. I decided to get up real close and personal and film the whole robbery,” Lysandrides told Reuters on Monday (May 16).Lysandrides said that while filming, one of the burglars saw him and yelled abuse at him, but then continued with the burglary. He also said there appeared to be a disagreement between the two burglars when one of them tried firing off a gun. He said he assumed staff were hiding in a safe-room and that they only came out when the robbers had fled.Lysandrides said he only really understood the seriousness of the situation afterwards.
