US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had given Iran a 60-day ultimatum for reaching a nuclear deal.

"Two months ago I gave Iran a 60-day ultimatum to 'make a deal.' They should have done it! Today is day 61. I told them what to do, but they just couldn’t get there. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

US President Donald Trump on Friday hailed Israeli strikes on Iran and said that perhaps Tehran has a "second chance".

The United Kingdom on Friday issued a travel advisory for its citizens travelling to Israel and said that the situation could escalate quickly.

"The situation could escalate quickly and could pose significant risks, including missile fire," an update on the government's website said.

US President Donald Trump has said that Israeli attack on Iran is “excellent”, reports ABC News. 

Iran's communication ministry said on Friday that internet restrictions have been introduced nationwide after Israel's attack.

"Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the country's internet," the ministry said in a statement carried by ISNA news agency, adding that the curbs "will be lifted once the normalcy returns."

Moments after Israel's statement, Iran confirmed the death of Gen Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guard's missile program, in Israeli strikes.

An Israeli miltary spokesman said that the country "must prepare for a lengthy operation" against Iran amid the escalating tensions and retaliation.

Diplomats have said that an exceptional meeting of the board of governors of the UN nuclear watchdog, IAEA, will be held to discuss the ongoing situation following Israeli strikes on Iran after at least on country on the board requested one at Friday's regular meeting, Reuters reported.

Diplomats said that any country on the board can call a meeting under its rules. Iran, which is not the board, also requested a meeting. Iran's call was backed by board members Russia, China, and Venezuela.

Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian has said that his country's legitimate and powerful response will "make Israel regret its foolish act".

Israel has freshly claimed that it has killed Gen Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of Iran's Revolutionary Guard missile program.

Israeli strikes have also killed the elite military outfit's chief Hossein Salami and the chief of Iran's armed forces, Gen. Mohammad Bagheri.

Israeli energy ministry has said that offshore Leviathan gas field is now closed. This comes in the backdrop of Israel's reported attacks on Iranian nuclear infrastructure and its anticipation of further retaliatory strikes from Tehran.

Amid the escalating tension between Israel and Iran, Syria has said that it has closed its airspace. 

Turkey's Pegasus airlines has said that it is cancelling all its flights to Iran until June 19, flights to Iraq and Jordan until Monday amid tense situation in the Middle East.

US President Donald Trump has urged Iran to make a nuclear deal and said that there was still time to prevent further conflict with Israel.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, " gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done. I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come - And they know how to use it. Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!"

"There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All!" he added.

State TV has reported that fresh Israeli attack has taken place on Iran's Natanz uranium enrichment facility.

The Paris-based International Energy Agency said that it is actively monitoring the impact of the Israel-Iran tensions on the oil market.

Executive Director Fatih Birol said on X, "IEA oil security system has over 1.2 billion barrels of emergency stocks."

Lebanon-based Hezbollah has said that it will "not initiate" attack on Israel in response to the strikes on Iran.

The Qatari Prime Minister has said, "Israel's absurd actions continue to destroy the prospects for peace and put our people and global security in imminent danger."

Amid the escalating in Middle East, the Israeli Embassy in Berlin has said that it is closed until further notice.

State media broadcaster has reported that a fresh round of blasts were heard in northwestern Iran on Friday.

"A few minutes ago, new explosions were heard in East Azerbaijan," the broadcaster said.

Israeli media has reported that Israel's strikes have hit Iran's Tabriz military airport, news agency Reuters reported. 

Israeli defence minister has said that most of the leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force were eliminated while convening at underground headquarters.

The Russian foreign ministry has said that Israeli strikes on Iran were "unprovoked and unacceptable".

It added that Israel's actions damage regional and international security.

Israel has claimed that it struck uranium enrichment centrifuges in Iran's Natanz nuclear complex, news agency AFP reported. 

A senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was wounded in Israeli strikes, state media reported.
