"I wonder if William Charles-ovich has brought depleted uranium ammunition for his troops," Maria Zakharova said as per The Daily Telegraph. The topic of depleted uranium ammunition has been at the centre of tensions between Russia and the West for the past week as Kremlin has accused the US of using weapons with a "nuclear component."
Vladimir Putin earlier said, “If all this happens, Russia will have to respond accordingly, given that the West collectively is already beginning to use weapons with a nuclear component.”

"The British Army has used depleted uranium in its armor-piercing shells for decades," a statement from Britain's Ministry of Defence confirmed as per the BBC.
“Russia knows this but is deliberately trying to disinform. Independent research by scientists from groups such as the Royal Society has assessed that any impact to personal health and the environment from the use of depleted uranium munitions is likely to be low,” it added.
Prince William's visit to Poland involved a number of engagements including visits to troops and meeting refugees.
