Eleven security personnel were injured when militants attacked a check post in Pakistan's Mohmand tribal region today.

Eleven security personnel were injured when militants attacked a check post in Pakistan's Mohmand tribal region today.
The pro-Taliban militants targeted the check post at Amabar in Mohmand Agency with mortars, firing about 36 mortar shells at the post since last night.
Security forces retaliated by shelling suspected militant hideouts in several areas.
The condition of injured security personnel was stable, officials said.
