A hand grenade was Friday hurled into a crowd of Yemeni anti-regime protesters in the centre of the city of Taez, south of Sanaa, injuring 25 people, witnesses said.
"One of the wounded is in critical condition," one witness told AFP.
Protesters demanding the ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh have been camped at a road intersection near Al-Huraish Square in Taez for seven days.
