Indian arrested in child abduction case in Nepal

An Indian national has been arrested in Nepal for his alleged role in the abduction of a 13-year-old boy. Pintu Mukhiya of Bhimnagar, India alongwith Gokarna Mukhiya of Sakarpur village of Saptari, Nepal were arrested by the police for their involvement in the abduction case.

An Indian national has been arrested in Nepal for his alleged role in the abduction of a 13-year-old boy.

Pintu Mukhiya of Bhimnagar, India alongwith Gokarna Mukhiya of Sakarpur village of Saptari, Nepal were arrested by the police for their involvement in the abduction case.

Police had successfully rescued Suresh Yadav, who was kidnapped by an armed gang last week, according to government daily Gorkhapatra.

Yadav, a resident of Rajbiraj in Saptari district in southern Nepal was abducted by a group of armed people from his residence and was taken to India's Bhimnagar and kept in a private house for one week.

The Nepal Police succeeded in rescuing the boy with the help of Indian police.

Both of them have admitted their crime and the police is searching other members of the gang who were involved in the abduction.

Meanwhile, police in Nepal have arrested 26 people from different restaurants and resort in Kathmandu for their alleged involvement in immoral sexual activities.

Fifteen men and eleven women were arrested from Khajaghar Restaurant and Mudkhu Resort in the outskirts of Kathmandu for their involvement in prostitution, police said.
