Iran recalls its envoy from Bahrain: govt website

Iran on Wednesday withdrew its ambassador from Bahrain "in protest at the killing of the people of Bahrain by its government," a statement posted on the government website dolat.ir said.

Iran on Wednesday withdrew its ambassador from Bahrain "in protest at the killing of the people of Bahrain by its government," a statement posted on the government website dolat.ir said.

"In protest at the mass killing of the people of Bahrain by its government, Mehdi Aghajafari, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has been recalled from Bahrain," the statement read.
