A group of four men were found drifting off the islet of Delft early on Sunday while another four were rescued four days ago in the same area, officials said.

Today's group were clinging onto some floating objects when the navy found them after their craft had run in to trouble," a naval spokesman said.

He said the first four to be rescued have already been handed over to the Indian authorities while the group found today will be handed over on Monday.
