The Iraqi government's efforts to sell a luxurious yacht, once owned by ousted dictator Saddam Hussein, have foundered as it failed to find a buyer in Europe because of the global economic downturn.

But the economic turmoil has drove away potential buyers.

As per reports, the Iraqi Govt had tried to fetch up to $30 million in France for the yacht which was built at a Danish shipyard in 1981.
