The plane crashed on Sunday near Baden, about 30 km south of capital Vienna. After almost two hours' search in dense forest, the pilot, who was probably from England, was found dead in the plane's wreckage, according to Austrian Press Agency (APA).

The Aircraft Accident Commission of Austria has begun an investigation into the cause of the crash, the third over the last two months in the country.

On Oct 21, a small aircraft crashed into an office building near Wiener Neustadt, killing both pilots on board, while on Nov 2, three people were killed when a small plane crashed in a forest near Graz in southern Austria.
