The company gave an undertaking saying that no worker who was involved in the strike would be subjected to any retaliatory action, an Indian embassy official said.
"No worker who was involved in the stir will be dismissed," the official was quoted as saying by the media.
Seventy-seven workers of the company were at the Indian embassy premises in Qatar on Thursday, refusing to go back to their accommodations.
The workers feared that the company will terminate the services of some of their colleagues on fabricated charges, The Peninsula daily reported.
They remained at the embassy almost the whole day having come early in the morning and leaving only after 8 pm.
"We were actually prepared to let the workers stay at the embassy overnight if they refused to go back, despite objections from law-enforcing agencies," said the official.
He said the workers left only after they were informed that the company had assured that no action would be taken against them.
