Goraknath temple attack: STF, IB visit accused’s house in Navi Mumbai

On Tuesday, the IB visited Taj Heights Apartment in sector 50 in Seawoods Darave, also in Navi Mumbai, which was purchased by Abbasi’s father, the officials added. NRI Coastal police (local) also visited the flat and collected CCTV footage of the last few days.

The investigators recreated the scene by placing mannequins as per the information collected by eyewitnesses before making three four-wheelers run on the narrow road of Banbirpur village, where the four farmers were allegedly mowed down, leading to the violence killing four others.

UP Police summoned Ashish Mishra for questioning at 10am on Friday, and pasted a notice outside Ajay Mishra’s house in Lakhimpur. The notice said Ashish Mishra must appear in person.

Police begin Probe as fresh video surfaces

Kanwar controversy: In UP, apprehension over yatra go-ahead

The yatra -- where Shiva devotees fetch water from the Ganga to their village shrines – will begin from July 25 despite Uttarakhand, which hosts the yatra’s destination, Haridwar, scrapping the event over fears of a surge in Covid infections.
