Director duo Abbas-Mustan’s much awaited action thriller Players will hit screens early next year. The shooting for the film was done throughout India, New Zealand and Russia.

Director duo Abbas-Mustan’s much awaited action thriller Players will hit screens early next year.

“Players releases on the 6th of January 2012,” film’s lead actor Abhishek Bachchan posted on Twitter. Earlier, the movie, which also stars Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin, was set to release on Dec 9 this year with Saif Ali Khan starrer Agent Vinod and Aditya Chopra’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

The shooting for the film, which is an official remake of the Hollywood crime thriller The Italian Job, was done throughout India, New Zealand and Russia.
