Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left for the Cannes Film Festival late Thursday with her six-year-old daughter Aaradhya. She makes her 17th appearance at the festival this year.

Aishwarya and Aaradhya wore colour co-ordinated casuals to the Mumbai airport as they left for Cannes. While Aishwarya was dressed in a black top and trousers, Aaradhya wore a black frock with cute pink and white balloons printed on it.

Meanwhile, she plans to make her Instagram debut on Friday before walking the red carpet.

The 71st annual Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 8 to May 19.

On the work front, Aishwarya will be seen in Fanne Khan opposite Anil Kapoor along with Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role.
