This Friendship Day saw a few celebs including Riteish Deshmukh and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu (who is married to actor Namrata Shirodkar) posting pictures of their better halves and calling them their best friends. Now, Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli have posted a picture on their respective social media pages, wishing each other on the occasion, indicating how they are each other’s ‘best friend’.
Sharing the picture, Anushka wrote: “Happy friendship day.” She followed it up with an emoji of a boy and girl holding hands and a heart sign. Both are in casual clothes and sport sun glasses but the happiness in their eyes (at being each other’s best friend) is palpable.
Not to be left behind, Virat too posted the same picture and said: “Happy friendships day.” He also followed it up with a monkey, heart and boy and girl holding hands emojis. The couple is together in England where India is playing cricket series. Anushka will soon return to India for her film with Varun Dhawan, Sui Dhaaga.

Anushka and Virat, who got married in December 2017, are among the most adored celebrity couples in the country. They routinely post pictures of each other (or of them together) from across the globe much to the delight of their fans. Their pictures from India’s tour of England are a big hit. In them, we see the lovely couple enjoying the vibes of the place, sometimes posing with fans or simply being in each other’s company.
Virat and Anushka got married in Italy in what can be called a dream wedding. They revealed the big news to the world a few hours later with posts on social media. “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey,” they had written with pictures from their wedding.
