Ayan Mukherji to shoot next in Kashmir
Filmmaker Ayan Mukherji, who made his directorial debut with Wake Up Sid (2009), is planning to shoot his next film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, in the Kashmir valley.

Filmmaker Ayan Mukherji, who made his directorial debut with Wake Up Sid (2009), is planning to shoot his next film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, in the Kashmir valley.
Mukherji, who is impressed by the beauty of Kashmir, has decided to shoot his new love story, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, there. “It’s not a political film. It’s a love story and after seeing the beauty of this place, I want to shoot my film there,” said the 28-year-old director, adding, the shooting for the film will begin early next year.
This will be Ranbir’s second film to be shot in Kashmir after Rockstar, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali.
