Co-produced by Shoojit Sircar, Pink stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi and Piyush Mishra in important roles.

Twitter has been in frenzy — applauding and congratulating the cast and the crew — since the film hit the theatres. And first in line are the celebs of tinsel town and cricket fraternity. An overwhelmed Sircar has been retweeting all kinds of reactions and thanking all and sundry. Meanwhile, senior Bachchan, who plays a lawyer defending the girls in movie, also took to Twitter on Sunday to acknowledge the widespread appreciation.

Actor Shefali Shah, who has previously worked with Big B in the 2005 film, Waqt: The Race Against Time, was so touched that she wrote an entire blog-post on what she felt about Pink.

Virender Sehwag

And it’s not just Shefali Shah. Pink compelled ace cricketer Virender Sehwag to become a writer too.

Varun Dhawan

The Dishoom actor could not just stop raving about the brilliance of the film. He praised Pink wholeheartedly in a series of tweets:

Kalki Koechlin

Koechlin especially mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s sarcastic one-liners that immensely add to the humour quotient of the film while driving home the point without much drama.

Kapil Dev

The veteran cricketer mentioned the performances by the girls and Angad Bedi.

Yuvraj Singh

Yuvi thinks the film is a reflection of the current times and the society, and gives out a strong message.

Sooraj Pancholi

Looks like Pink is getting appreciation from unexpected corners . Look who’s loved it so much that he could not look away for a second.

Divya Dutta

The actor could not help giving the film a standing ovation with other viewers as the credits rolled. She also expressed her gratitude and good fortune at having worked with Bachchan.

Riteish Deshmukh

The Banjo star is already rooting for Shoojit Sircar and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s next. We cannot blame him.

Genelia Deshmukh

Mrs Deshmukh, who has lately ben keeping busy bringing up her two infant sons, was happy to watch a film after ages and happier that it was Pink.

Shamita Shetty

Though Ms Shetty has been away from the silver screen for a long time now, she took out time to praise the brilliant performances.

Daler Mehndi

Pink seems to have picked up an unlikely fan in the evergreen king of Pujabi songs.
