Emraan Hashmi has found his doppelganger and he is as surprised as we are. The photos appear to be those of Mazdak Jan from Pakistan; he had recently uploaded pictures of himself and taken social media by storm. He has also spoken to Samaa TV and said, “I really like it when people throng me for selfies and want to talk to me. I have become a star without being a star and am extremely happy.”

Emraan Hashmi shared the picture of his doppelganger on Instagram.

Now, Emraan himself took to Instagram to share pictures of Mazdak, a collage at that, and captioned it, “Who’s this cheater !! trying to copy me look ! #NakalMeinHiAkalHai #CheatIndia #doppelganger.”

Cheat India is Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film, in which he plays the lead role and also produces the film. Before the launch of the film, the actor had said in a statement, “The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I’ve read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography. I am also looking forward to working with some formidable partners - Soumik, an amazing storyteller.”

The shoot for the film, which is expected to release in January 2019, is going on in Lucknow. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted earlier, “#CheatIndia begins filming in Lucknow today [25 July 2018]... Stars Emraan Hashmi... Directed by Soumik Sen... Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan Hashmi... 25 Jan 2019 release... #RepublicDayWeekend.” The film is about crimes committed because of the education system in the country and the mafia that benefits from this system.
