Fawad, Anushka to play Pakistani lovebirds in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Directed by Karan Johar, the flick stars Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.
Earlier, it was reported that Fawad Khan’s role in the upcoming flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been extended and now, it has been revealed that he and Anushka Sharma will be playing the Pakistani lovebirds in the film.
A source close to the film revealed that Anushka and Fawad are from Karachi, who meet each other in a foreign country. Fawad is a DJ, while Anushka comes from a royal family, reports the Express Tribune.
The insider added, “The two fall in love abroad but once they come back to Karachi and Fawad approaches Anushka’s family to ask for her hand, he is ridiculed for belonging to a lower class and sent away. A dejected Anushka leaves her home too.”

However, it is still a suspense if they will reunite in the end or not.
