"I am happy to see my son doing well. It is certainly a special film and coming from Vishal Bhardwaj (director) makes it all the more special. I am extremely happy to see Shahid’s work in the film," says Pankaj, who has been part of Bhardwaj’s Maqbool (2003) and The Blue Umbrella (2005).
Within a span of a few weeks, both father and son will come on screen to woo the audience.
While Pankaj will be seen tickling the funny bone of the audience in a Homi Adajania directorial , Shahid’s film by Bharadwaj is expected to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
If the 60-year-old is impressed with his son’s work, he is equally excited about his own film. "When Homi came to me with the script, I instantly said yes. It’s a very unusual film ... something I have not done before," says Pankaj.
