Delhi 6

and hence underwent depression, is now back with his production

Teen Thay Bhai

which will be followed by Hindi remake of the Belgian film,

Everybody’s Famous

which will be helmed by Sunil Pandey.

Talking about

Teen Thay Bhai

, which stars Om Puri, Deepak Dobriyal and Shreyas Talpade, and releases on April 1, Mehra says, “This comic caper is a story of three brothers who love to hate each other and are brought together by their grandfather’s will.”

At the moment, Mehra’s attention is also on his next directorial venture

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

, which is the story of known athlete Milkha Singh. However, Mehra denies that actor Akshay Kumar was approached for the lead role.

Mehra also shares that he was completely broken when

Delhi 6

flopped. He says, “The problem was the fact drifted away from my vision of killing my protagonist. That did not really work. I just couldn’t digest the fact that the audience had rejected my film. I locked myself up in my room and isolated myself. However, I want to release the original version of the film, where Abhishek Bachchan dies at the start of the film.”
