I won’t let failure stop me: Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui says that he will not let the failure of a film affect his other projects.
Although he is has been having a good run at the box office, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui says that failure cannot deter him. “Aisa kabhi ho bhi jaye, toh koi badhi baat nai hai. Jab aap kaam karte hain, you see both success and failure. This is part of the job and I won’t let failure scare me,” says Nawazuddin, who has been appreciated for roles in films such as Badlapur (2015), The Lunchbox (2013) and Gangs of Wasseypur (2012).

The actor says he approaches his roles thinking about how it will take his character forward. “When you get a nice role, you should do it. Tab sochna nahi chahiye ki agar main yeh karoonga toh shayad chalega nai…iss dar se aap limit kar rahe ho apne aap ko. If it’s a character that interests you, you must take it up,” he says.

Talking about success at the box office, Nawazuddin says a film’s success should be judged keeping in mind it’s budget. “Choti film apne budget ke hisaab se successful honi chahiye. It all depends on the budget of the film. And agar koi badhi film hit hoti hai, toh acha hai, uske paise se choti films banti hai,” he says.
