Inside Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta wedding reception: Arijit Singh croons Janam Janam, Sonakshi Sinha and Kapil Sharma attend bash
Singer Arijit Singh performed at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s second wedding reception on Monday. Among the guests were Sonakshi Sinha, Tamannaah Bhatia and Kapil Sharma with wife Ginni Chatrath.
After Coldplay, The Chainsmokers and Maroon 5, singer Arijit Singh was the latest celebrity to join the list of artistes to perform during Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding celebrations.

Arijit performed at the second wedding reception hosted by the Ambanis on Monday. A video of him crooning his popular romantic number Janam Janam from the 2016 film Dilwale at the event was shared online. While the entire Bollywood fraternity had made its presence felt at the first reception on Sunday, many actors including Sonakshi Sinha and Tamannaah Bhatia who couldn’t make it to the party attended the second event held on Monday.

Sonakshi shared a glimpse of her look on her Instagram handle and looked lovely in a shimmery beige sari. Baahubali actor Tamannaah also shared her look of the day as she attended the party in a red lehenga. Comedian Kapil Sharma also took part in Akash and Shloka’s post-wedding celebrations with wife Ginni Chatrath. The newlyweds twinned in pink and red for the reception.

Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash and diamentaire Russell Mehta’s daughter Shloka had tied the knot on March 9, which was followed by a reception ‘Mangal Parv’ on Sunday. International pop band Maroon 5 had flown to India to perform at the reception and even made the newlyweds groove to their romantic number, She Will Be Loved.
Coldplay and The Chainsmokers had performed at the pre-wedding bash held in St Moritz, Switzerland a few days before the wedding. Last year, Beyonce had flown to India to perform at Mukesh’s daughter Isha Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in Udaipur. Oscar and Grammy winner AR Rahman had also performed at one of her wedding receptions last year.
