Ishaan Khatter tells Rajkummar Rao that Janhvi Kapoor is obsessed with him, advises him to be wary

Ishaan Khatter and Rajkummar Rao will be seen together on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, BFF.

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter has a warning for Rajkummar Rao and it concerns his Dhadak co-star Janhvi Kapoor. Ishaan has said that Rajkummar should be wary of Janhvi as “she is obsessed” with the Newton star. Rajkummar is working with Janhvi in their upcoming horror comedy Rooh Afza.

Ishaan said, “He needs to be wary because she is obsessed with him. She is a keen learner. I think he must’ve already observed that about her and she genuinely is very fond of his work, as am I.”

Ishaan and Rajkummar appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show BFFs where they talked about Janhvi, had suggestions for each other and much more, a Mumbai Mirror report said.

Reacting to rumours of dating Janhvi, Ishaan said, “I am in a relationship with coffee,” and added that he likes “girls who are honest, funny, real, relaxed, chilled out and passionate. I guess, I would like anyone to be that way. I look for the same qualities in a friend as well.”

Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, a remake of Marathi hit film Sairat. While Ishaan had earlier featured in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, Dhadak was Janhvi’s first film. The two haven’t signed any film together but are often rumoured to be dating. Talking on the chat show Feet Up with Stars, Janhvi had recently said, “I don’t have many dates because dad believes...( no boy) is good enough for me.” When asked how Ishaan did in this screening, Janhvi blushed while saying, “Huh?” She later added, “Dad thinks Ishaan is a lovely actor and a nice boy. That’s all he thinks.”

On the same show, she was reminded about her comment ‘I love you’ on Rajkummar Rao’s Instagram post and Janhvi had said, “He is so creeped out by me, he doesn’t know how to deal with it.”
