Priyanka Chopra to lead a song-and-dance show at Abu Dhabi film fest

Priyanka Chopra will be in the city for a private music and dance show titled, Magic of Bollywood. Conceived and choreographed by actor-singer Ganesh Hegde, the performance will be held at the Emirates Palace on October 29.

Bollywood has a special place in the hearts of the people of Abu Dhabi and rest of West Asia, which explains why a bevy of Bollywood actors who go there to promote films.

Actor is expected to perform at the ongoing Abu Dhabi International Film Festival, in a bid to showcase Bollywood to the world.

Miss will be in the city for a private music and dance show titled, Magic of Bollywood. Conceived and choreographed by actor-singer Ganesh Hegde, the performance will be held at the Emirates Palace on October 29. He has been putting up India's Zee Cine Awards and Filmfare Awards. He choreographed SRK Temptations Reloaded, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji.

Chopra will lead an ensemble of 85 performers, including Elli Avram, the Swedish-Greek Bollywood actor, during the 90-minute show. There will be multiple dance sequences.

Many Indian actors are regulars in the UAE, though most of them are seen in Dubai. Last year, Chopra attended the Dubai International Film Festival to promote the release of Gunday along with her co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. This year, she was the face of the fashion label, Guess, and was in Dubai in March to promote the brand's new boutique.
