Sanjay Dutt can't say no to Vidya Balan?

Buzz is that Vidya Balan has convinced actor Sanjay Dutt to do a cameo in her upcoming comedy Ghanchakkar. The two actors share a good bond and that is the reason why Dutt agreed.

Buzz is that Vidya Balan has convinced actor Sanjay Dutt to do a cameo in her upcoming comedy Ghanchakkar. The two actors share a good bond and that is the reason why Sanjay agreed, reports Mid-Day.

A source told the daily, “Vids has worked with Sanju in Parineeti and Lage Raho Munnabhai and they get along very well. When UTV had initially approached Sanjay with the cameo, he was very tied up.”

Apparently, Sanjay Dutt is in Jaipur and will start shooting for Ghanchakkar as soon as he returns.

Vidya Balan is still up for bold scenes
Actor Vidya Balan, who recently tied the knot with movie producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, says that marriage won’t decide her career choices. Asked if she would be okay doing bold roles or kissing scenes, Vidya said, “That I am an actor and I am married are two different things. Both of us (Siddharth and I) respect each other and our work.”
Altaf Raja makes comeback, Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan join him
On Monday night, the entire cast and crew of Ghanchakkar celebrated the film’s completion at a suburban lounge. Emraan Hashmi made an appearance, while Vidya Balan arrived with her husband and UTV head honcho, Siddharth Roy Kapur. The director of the UTV Motion Pictures’ film, Rajkumar Gupta, was also seen at the event along with producer Ronnie Screwvala. However, the man of the evening turned out to be singer Altaf Raja, who is making a comeback with the song ‘Jholuram’ in the film.

“As the evening progressed, the team began requesting Altaf to sing a few lines of the song. Eventually, when he agreed to sing the peppy number, Emraan and Vidya joined in too,” says a source from the unit. In the film, the track has been picturised on Emraan. He plays the role of a thief, who specialises in breaking into vaults.

I can't do over-the-top comedy: Emraan Hashmi
Action, romance and thriller - Emraan Hashmi has done it all on the big screen, but now the actor, who is set to feature in humour-laden film Ghanchakkar, says he is uncomfortable with over-the-top comedy.

"Ghanchakkar is a comedy with a difference. I've seen different kinds of comedies in Bollywood, but I cannot do that kind of comedy. That over-the-top comedy, I don't even understand it. I don't even feel like laughing on it. (So) I'm doing a comedy which I enjoy and understand," said Emraan.The 33-year-old has be seen opposite his The Dirty Picture co-star, Vidya Balan, in the film, directed by Rajkumar Gupta. It is slated to release next year.

Emraan Hashmi mobbed during Ghanchakkar shoot
Actor Emraan Hashmi was mobbed while shooting for Ghanchakkar on the Eastern Express Highway. Director Rajkumar Gupta says the crew has now shifted to night schedules. "We are shifting to night schedules to avoid confusion and traffic snarls. So from now on, we are going to shoot at night," Gupta told IANS.

Vidya Balan in flabby avatar again, for Ghanchakkar


Vidya Balan put on oodles of weight for The Dirty Picture (TDP, 2011) and Kahaani. But after completing work on the two movies, Vidya was keen to lose all the extra flab she had gained for the roles.

But now, audiences will see a voluptuous Vidya in Raj Kumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar, where she plays a typical Punjabi housewife.
