Shilpa Shetty Kundra turns down offer to endorse a cold drink brand

Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently refused an offer to endorse a cold drink brand as she promotes fitness, and is against aerated drinks.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a fitness enthusiast. To spread awareness about the importance of staying fit, the actor has released DVDs on yoga and has also written a book on healthy eating. Now, a source close to the actor says that she recently turned down an endorsement offer from a popular cold drink brand.

“When officials from the brand approached Shilpa for the ad, she refused the offer, because she didn’t want to promote a product that’s unhealthy. She promotes yoga and fitness, and is against the idea of endorsing aerated drinks,” adds the source.

We tried contacting Shilpa, but she remained unavailable for a comment. However, her spokesperson confirmed the news, and said, “Yes, she has been approached to endorse a cold drink, but on principle, she doesn’t support this.”
