Sonali Bendre is going through the toughest time of her life after being diagnosed with cancer but she has great friends to help her walk through it. The actor posted a special note of thanks for her friends Sussanne Khan, Gayatri Oberoi and Dia Mirza for being amazing pals and a big help, once again.

On Wednesday, Sonali posted a picture of her girls, attending a session of the Sonali’s Book Club on her behalf. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... “I have the best friends in the world!” Thank you sooooo much @gayatrioberoi, @suzkr and @diamirzaofficial for coming together to celebrate Friendship Day with #SBC... I had so much fun watching this... So glad some of my influence has rubbed off on you hahaha,” she captioned her friends’ photo on Instagram.

Sussanne also posted a photo album from the event. “Ode to our Sonzy’s @iamsonalibendre book club... ♥A beautiful afternoon chat with @gayatrioberoi @diamirzaofficial at this wonderful space @myawfis,” she captioned the photos. Sonali Bendre organised interactive sessions between coming-of-age authors and readers through Sonali’s Book Club in the past.

Sonali shared a beautiful post about her BFFs on Sunday on the occasion of Friendship Day. “I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment’s notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. Thank you for showing me what true friendship is. #HappyFriendshipDay, ladies,” she captioned a photo of herself with Gayatri and Sussanne.

The actor is undergoing chemotherapy rounds to treat her cancer. In an earlier post, Sonali had said that son Ranveer was her strength and she had taken the decision to reveal her diagnosis to the 12-year-old. A few days later, husband Goldie Behl had also shared a smiling photo of the youngster and told her fans that the actor was doing well.
