Even Priya Prakash Warrier has reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s wink.

After the eventful day that was in the Parliament, the entire country is busy making jokes, memes and social media posts about Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s surprise hug for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Of course, when it comes to being vocal on social media, who does it better than Bollywood.

Several stars decided to have their bit of the fun with the incident and sent out funny tweets about it to their followers. Actor Rajkummar Rao proclaimed that “Today is official, ‘Hug day.’” while Sonam Kapoor liked and retweeted a few hilarious tweets on the same.

Rahul Gandhi hugged Modi and later appeared to wink in some dramatic moments in the Lok Sabha, capping his blistering attack at the Prime Minister, accusing him of being a ‘bhagidar’ (collaborator) in corruption and not a ‘chowkidar’ and adding people were victims of his ‘jumla’ strikes. As Gandhi took his seat, he appeared to wink.

Priya Prakash Warrier, who went viral a few months ago for her own wink, also reacted to what happened in Parliament. During an interview to News 18, the actor said, “I’ve come back from college to see the news that Rahul Gandhi has winked... it was a very sweet gesture and I’m very happy that it was my signature move in the movie where I started off. So, yeah, today I’m very happy.”
