Actor Swara Bhasker’s upcoming film, Veere Di Wedding, is creating a lot of buzz. At present being shot in Delhi, the film revolves around four friends — Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara, and Shikha Talsania. Sharing her excitement about this film, Swara tells us, “We’re having a fantastic time shooting for it. Us amazing women — Kareena, Sonam, Rhea (Kapoor; the producer) and Shikha — have a constant party on set! Shashanka Ghosh, our director, is also an honorary girlfriend (laughs). Rhea is spoiling us; there’s always food being ordered from different places. That’s the most difficult part, because I am a foodie, but on a diet.”

The team of Veere Di Wedding has been shooting in Delhi for over a month now, but its shooting locations have been a big mystery. However, Swara doesn’t think so. “It’s actually not a secret where we’re shooting. We are everywhere in Delhi, my hometown, and were there for eight-nine days in Gurgaon. We have many different places in mind now, for our second schedule in October. Chandni Chowk is also on our list, but I don’t know how the hell we’re going to manage that!” says the 34-year-old actor.

One might be quick to label the film ‘chick flick’, since it boasts a primarily all-female star cast, but Swara feels that films based on friendships are beyond gender. “Though it definitely headlines four girls, audiences from every sphere — including guys — will be able to relate to the friendship the girls share,” she quips.
