Tamannah in Karan Johar’s next?
Filmmaker Karan Johar might cast actor Tamannah Bhatia in his next production.
Actor Tamannah Bhatia last collaborated with filmmaker Karan Johar for the multilingual film Baahubali: The Beginning. If sources are to be believed, the actor-director duo will soon work on another project.
Johar, who presented Baahubali in Bollywood, has bought the rights of Telugu film Oopiri, which stars Bhatia in the female lead. The filmmaker plans on casting the actor in the Hindi version as well.

“Karan was highly impressed by Tamannah’s performance in Oopiri, and as the actor has performed well in the Telugu version, the production house is considering her for the Hindi version too,” says a source.

The Telugu film is said to be remake of the French film The Intouchables (2011), which is about the warm camaraderie that develops between a wheelchair-bound billionaire and his male caregiver. The male lead, however, is yet to be decided.
“We don’t know who the male lead will be. But Tamannah’s acting has been appreciated in Bollywood as well. So, the chances of her being cast in the Hindi version are very high,” says the source.
