Watch: Ranbir, Anushka in Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Scheduled to release on October 28, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan along with Ranbir and Anushka.

Music composer Pritam and vocalist Arijit Singh has once again joined hands for Channa Mereya, the new song from director Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The soulful song is a celebration of love and friendship.

Featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, it throws light on Anushka and Ranbir’s relationship in the film. The trailer of the film had shown them as close friends who don’t want to get involved in a romantic relationship.

Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics talks about the good old days when Ayan (Ranbir) and Alizah (Anushka) used to mean the world to each other. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing Saba in the film.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is in also the news for the threats issued against Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who is playing an important role in the film.

Political outfit Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had demanded the replacement of Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan from their respective Bollywood projects Raees and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

There are reports that Fawad Khan has already left India after the threats.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will hit the screens on October 28, 2016.
