The cricketer sported a tee recently and speculation started once again regarding the relationship status of the couple that had famously parted ways in January this year.

While neither of them commented on the split, Anushka unfollowed Virat on social media soon after the split. Those in the know said the couple ended their two-year relationship on a bitter note, though no official confirmations were forthcoming.

Now with his tee proclaiming, “We were on a break,” Virat has just added fuel to the fire. It also has a cartoon of Superman and Wonder Woman. Is he hinting that they are back together after a relationship break?

If the couple is together again, it will come as a big relief for their fans. The buzz of them getting together again started building up after Virat defended Anushka in the face of trolling after India’s stellar performance at the T20 World Cup. While social media suggested Virat’s excellent form on-field was a result of his split with Anushka, the cricketer himself was upset because of the trolling. He posted on Twitter that Anushka has “always” affected him positively and people should be ashamed of their posts and tweets.
