Bengaluru weather update: City witnesses coldest October morning
Bengaluru observes lowest minimum temperature of the month at 17.1°C.
Karnataka capital Bengaluru - nicknamed as the ‘Garden City’ - has broken yet another weather record, this time, observing the coldest October morning on Tuesday.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 17.1 degrees Celsius at around 8:30am on Tuesday, which was the lowest minimum temperature of the month this year, according to a highly placed India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
This minimum temperature varied from the normal by two degrees, according to The Hindu. The KIAL and HAL Airport stations recorded temperatures of 17.2 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively, the publication quoted data from the IMD.

Most October days saw a minimum morning temperature between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius. IMD scientists said they could not ascertain the cause for the temperature drop on Tuesday morning. The city saw a minimum temperature of 15.4 degrees last year on October 25, which was the lowest minimum temperature in the month in 2022.
