2 minors die of dengue in Mohali, 19 infections in Chandigarh tricity area

The latest victims of dengue are an 11-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl. Both were residents of Sector 70, Mohali, and were admitted at Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.

Tricity’s Covid tally in single digit after 4 days

Amid concerns of the new Omicron variant of Covid-19, the daily cases in tricity are beginning to see a rise. On Thursday, eight more people tested positive for Covid-19 in the tricity, while the single-day tally was recorded in the single digit after four days. Four infections were reported from Chandigarh, followed by three from Mohali and one from Panchkula. However, no Covid-19 related death was reported from any of the three jurisdictions on Thursday.
