2 minors die of dengue in Mohali, 19 infections in Chandigarh tricity area

Nineteen fresh dengue infections were also reported in the tricity on Thursday, with Chandigarh reporting 10 of them. Seven cases surfaced in Mohali while two were reported from Panchkula.
Tricity’s Covid tally in single digit after 4 days
Amid concerns of the new Omicron variant of Covid-19, the daily cases in tricity are beginning to see a rise. On Thursday, eight more people tested positive for Covid-19 in the tricity, while the single-day tally was recorded in the single digit after four days. Four infections were reported from Chandigarh, followed by three from Mohali and one from Panchkula. However, no Covid-19 related death was reported from any of the three jurisdictions on Thursday.
