: Haryana government on Monday transferred senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka as additional chief secretary (ACS), archives department, in a minor bureaucratic rejig also involving four Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers.

Khemka, who was holding the charge of ACS, science and technology, has been divested of the science and technology department after the state government merged it with the higher education department.

A government spokesperson said Manav Malik, sub divisional officer (SDO-civil), Radaur has been posted as inquiry officer of state agricultural marketing board; Amit Kumar-II, joint director (Admn), tourism has been posted as SDO (civil) Radaur.

Mayank Bhardwaj, estate officer (HSVP, Kaithal and Kurukshetra) has been posted as city magistrate (Rewari) replacing Devendra Sharma, who has been posted as SDO (civil), Kalayat.

Virender Singh, SDO (civil), Badhra, has been given additional charge of CEO, zila parishad, Charkhi Dadri.
