Man, woman die by suicide in Dehradun: Police
A man and a woman, both 25 years of age, died by suicide at the former’s residence in Dehradun, police said on Monday
A man and a woman, both 25 years of age, died by suicide at the former’s residence in Dehradun, police said on Monday.
Police said they both knew each for more than five years. Police said both had a medical background, and the man worked at a hospital in Dehradun.
According to the police, the man left his house in Dharampur at around 11pm on Sunday and came back with the woman late at night.

“In the morning when the he didn’t open the door, his brother broke and entered the room where he found their bodies. An injection and a vial was also recovered from the spot,” said Lokendra Bahuguna, officer in charge of Nehru Colony police station.
Bahuguna said that at around 3am on Monday, the man also allegedly uploaded their photo on social media with the caption “bye everyone”. However, he said that it was not clear if the man already killed the woman and later killed himself as the woman appeared unconcious in the picture.
“Prima facie, it seems to be a case of suicide, however, their investigation into the matter was underway,” said Bhaguna
