Agriculture minister JP Dalal on Monday issued directions to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram to conduct a survey of illegal guest houses in sector 38, and submit an action taken report by next month. He also told district administration officials to check ownership of land from Gwal Pahari to Mandi on the Delhi-Gurugram border and take action against illegal encroachments on the green belts.
The decisions were taken at the monthly district grievances committee chaired by Dalal, the district administration said. “We heard 16 complaints on Monday of which 10 were resolved while the remaining six will be resolved in a time-bound manner. Officials have been asked to address grievances of the people at the earliest,” Dalal said after the meeting.
The minister also heard 20 unlisted grievances submitted by people who had come to attend the meeting and issued directions to officials to ensure that problems being faced by people are resolved at the earliest, the district administration said.
In another matter, Dalal directed the enforcement department of DTCP to take up the matter of lack of electricity infrastructure with the developer of a licensed colony in Farrukhnagar, and ensure that deficiencies in infrastructure are completed, otherwise action will be taken against the developer, the district administration said.
The issues raised by industrialists of Daultabad industrial area were also heard during the meeting, and the minister directed that demarcation of industrial and residential areas should be taken up so that necessary changes in the master plan can be carried out.
After hearing a complaint by a Dhanwapur resident against a developer, who had dug a basement on a plot adjacent to the three acres owned by the land owner, the minister directed the developer to take necessary measures and fill the dug up land with earth within a month.
