PUNE: Thieves burgle a liquor warehouse in Shewalwadi area by drilling a hole at the building back wall, said police officials.

The incident took place between 6 pm on August 6 and 5 am on August 8. Over 120 liquor boxes worth ₹12,65,000 were stolen from the warehouse in Shewalewadi, Hadapsar. The DVR box of CCTV cameras was also stolen.

Santosh Keshave (33), owner of Shreenath Enterprises, filed a police complaint. Assistant inspector Vijaykumar Shinde said an FIR under Sections 454 (housebreaking in order to commit offence), 457 (housebreaking by night in order to commit offence) and 380 (theft in dwelling house) of the Indian Penal Code was filed at Kondhwa police station.
